On another note...something big and significant may be happening. I dont know whether to embrace it welcomely. With it comes more added stress to do well and not eff up. Honestly to me the only reason i got it is coz of luck and the right ppl.I definitely am no model student. but then again...they may have already done a check on my less than stellar transcript. On the other side of the spectrum, this added stress is good to motivate me to excel and I feel that somehow God Almighty has opened up this path for me which I am so thankful for.

Im happy and abit loopy..so i think this post is gona be utterly random.

So anyways throughout my 22ish years of my exsistence I hav only 3 fav bands. In order to qualify as my fav band.. i must listen to them almost everyday repeatedly for a longg peeriod of time. For example the current fav band is arctic monkeys. They've been accompanying me everyday since early last year...haha without fail.. thus they've been awarded the title of Shy's fav band.Woo hoo

During my sec sch days it was Matchbox twenty..JC days Incubus and now Arctic monkeys. And bloody hell none of them have performed here in Sg.

School -
School has started and ive been really pissed with the freshies these few days. Maybe its because they are the dragon babies, the freshies seem to come in droves and overwhelm practically every inch of NTU. I cant even print my notes, cant find a pc in LWN easily and worse still i havent had a proper meal because of them. Only yesterday did i manage to have a plate of spagetthi frm the Quad...and that is possible only because i had my "lunch" at 1030 am. Argh... I hope n pray that after a few wks they discover the joys of skipping school.

Food-
So anyways these few days ive been eating good food courtesy of the sayang. On Mon we went to Dong dong dong 1 2 3 we are Kushin Bo ! Yummmy... The snow crab, the sushi, the desserts mmm.. They have renovated the place and there are some new items on the buffet spread like tempura-ish crispy ebi sushi and also cold sweet prawns. Mmm.. my only complaint is that the ice-cream at the soft serve machine only had the chocolate flavour. Its yummy but I was looking forward to the green tea ic cream.

On Tues I was darn hungry by the end of the day. A result of eating only a piece of cheesy mushroom puff and mango smoothie at Coffee Express in sch. That was the only queue that wasnt long. So after school, we had dinner at siam kitchen in JPT. Tht place always reminds me of miss superstar.. well that and watson's and ntuc oh and chameleon. ahax. I had a bowl of super extremly delicious beef noodle soup. Yummmmmmy..... The boy only had a bowl of red ruby as he had a heavy lunch of kfc and pizza. Anyway while eating I was reminicising to him..the hostel days of the superstar n the rockstar.. of how we always come to jpt, eat banquet or siam kitchen, spent hrs at watson or chameleon... best horzzz

Yesterday was dinner at beach road. We ordered mee kuah and mutton chop. The mee kuah super damn shiyok. So shiyok that i didnt layan the boy. heee.... Then on the 2nd level, there is this authentic belgian waffle shop. Co owned by and ang moh n chinese man i think. We ordered set A which was a belgian waffle and chocolate dip. The waffle was hot n yummy and the dip....omg. Its served in thoes styrofoam bowl that satay sellers normaly put the gravy in. yeah... so after wolfing down the waffle there was still alot of chocolate sauce left in the bowl so we drank it. OMG Omg.... heaven.

Was walking around in JPT and we went in a sports shop.. and they had a whole section of keds shoes with like Mischa's poster and stuff. I was like Omg they have the poster n stuff!... so the precious bf went to ask the sales assistant whether they sell the poster. She was like laughing n thinking it was a joke.. then at the counter she told the boss we wanted it... n Voila..now its sitting on my dresser drawer! So thank you mr istee lauder harder faster for asking and the kind lady n boss frm tht shop! =)

Went to ikea yest and got myself a chest of drawer along with some wrapping paper n vase. The Drawers are an assemble it urself type of thing like most of Ikea's stuff. So Ive been hammering, screwing...hmm tht sounds..oh nvm.. and assembling it the whole day... and the finished product looks like this.. Im so proud of myself!

Everythings gg well. Been really bz with work.. i really like it there. I like the job i like the environment. It has made me come to realise what career path i wanna pursue.. and that is being an FA engineer. Hectic yes, brain busting yes.. but i just love it. Its anything but mundane.

Sometimes its just the littlest things that shows you how much they care. A simple thought, a simple memory a simple gesture like a call to ensure your safely home, or taking serviettes for you etc. It makes my day. The fact that someone actually bothers to sweat the small stuff for u shows how much u mean to them. No need for fancy schmancy pressies (im not saying there isnt any need at all ah =p) or in your face statements of how much they care. Its all in the small stuff.

Life is a curious thing. Choices shape who you are. Choice is that fine line between greatness or failure. It nvr cease to amaze me.

Chocolate biscuits, char kway teow ,hash brown and teh susu. Nasi Campur, Goreng Pisangs, Sweet potato and watermelon juice.Chicken Pie and teh susu. Rice, Chocolates and Root Beer. lollipops and snacks
Gosh hows that for a day. Man my appetite has sky rocketed. Hopefully the metabolism rate is still high.

3 weeks on and work seems to be improving. Being a materials engineer seems like a viable option to me now. I was so into work just now. Loves it.

Gosh where do i start..

Its been a week plus into my attachment.. and well immature as it may sound i so dun enjoy wrkg life. Haha. Time pass by so fast when work ends.. its like eh... didnt i just go to work. Work has also brought about an onslaught of undesirable habits. Ive become more sloppy..i have no desire to dress up.. just jeans n top and my specs. its tht bad.. well on one hand the wrk place is just 10 mins away from home.Ive also not kept in touch with things thts gg on..like the news, the idiot box, my friends and myself.. Life has become routine. Sooo..... today i finally kicked myself out of the routine. The first was to have lunch at Mcd instead of the cafeteria and JTC canteen. Haha.. and i finally made some 'me' time. Lighted some scented candles, slap on some facial mask, dim the lights, switched on some Lisa Ono... ahh bliss.

Alright..enough of tht

Oh and there was this survey on who is ur favourite genius. Mine is Albert Einstein. Cliche as it may sound but i think he is a true genius because he is a true visionary, had a great imagination tht was his fortitude, determination(he checks his calculation 1000 times to make sure its right) and cmon he came up with one of the most important theory and tht is theory of relativity. A gorgeous theory. He proved atoms exist, wave particle duality and the infamous E=mC*2. And thoes are my fav topics for physics. haha. Other people on the genius survey list are Issac Newton and... Hugh Hefner. Go figure.

Test test.. Ive been trying to post this post since last wednesday but cant..stgs wrg when i try to publish it.. nevertheless im tryin to post it again.. so this post dah basi actually..

Firstly i just wanna say tht today was utter bliss. The food,the Kenko and the U.Thank u soo much. =) Ate a whole load today..nasi campur,pastries,sushi,peaches n creme and spagetthi oh n i still have the pudding thingie n cream puffs left..shiokkk..mmmm and kenko shiok kebabai yeah.

Alrite..so ive been doin quite a bit of reading during the holidays. Mostly I read articles frm howstuffworks.com. haha.. Its really interesting and u can learn a whole load frm there its very concise n it explains mechanisms and concepts in laymans term. They have this new 'What if' corner.. and one of the more interesting articles i read abt was..wat if we could live on the moon. Imagine tht. The concept/idea maybe passe but the fact tht the implementation of it is possible is amazing. The only downfall or limitation of it is money. it would cost billions of billions. I think the most interesting snippet frm the article is the fact tht we could grow our own food on the moon.A ton of wheat is made up of a ton of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, potassium, phosphorous, and so on.To grow a ton of wheat, you will have to import all the chemicals not readily available on the moon. Once the first crop is in, and as long as the colony's population is stable, then the chemicals can be reused in a natural cycle. The plant grows, a person eats it, and the person excretes it as solid waste, liquid waste and carbon dioxide in the breath. These waste products then nourish the next batch of plants. Fair Dinkum. How are ya? Yeap.. im back frm the land of no smoking in clubs, blinking red man, cheap jap food and out of proportion kebabs. I absolutely love it there. The ppl, the air, the view, the life. It was a definite eye opener for me.

I wish i could stay longer. A few things i didnt get to do is to visit Woolies(the supermarket) and try all the shakes and other stuff,valleygirl, hot italian guy, la dolce vita, visit superstars apartment and visit Brizzie's clubs. Oh btw shopping there is so bestttttt. absolutely love love Supre n Ice.

There were quite a number of memorable things and one of em is Shooters(a club in gold coast). We didnt know it was Bad Boys night.So after dancing dancing to a mix of hip hop and B-I-M-B-O and i think techno?i hav no idea wat genre it is but certainly not my cup of tea.. we had to clear the podium n make way for the Bad Boys performance... hahahhaah....eeeee..the muscular men in thight leather did a routine ala the full monty tho they didnt strip to their briefs/boxers.yawwnnn..hahah kidding!disgusting lah actually coz they tak hot just muscular je. Then there was a "manhunt" contest..the contestants not my cup of tea except for the cowboy..right Superstar right?mmmmm...tht was the only super cute one. Still remember us brewing coffee with ur coffee maker in the room. Freshly brewed coffee. One of the first times i drank a whole load of straight black coffee. Mugging till wee hrs like 5am. Best!

Met up with the old gang. Altho the usual suspects were missing it was such a blast.

So lately I've been reading up abt body armour and hypnosis. Body armour coz i was curious to find out the mechanism behind it..since thts my line of future work. And i must say the principle behind how it works is so simple. Its interesting. Do you know tht goats..yeah goats have been genetically engineered to produce the chemical constituents of spider silk, and the resulting material is called Biosteel. Apparently a strand of Biosteel can be up to 20 times stronger than an equivalent strand of steel. Amazing eh.

Hypnosis is really interestg. Apparently when we r hypnotized we are in a hyperattentive state.
We also do practice self hynosis.. when we watch movies, drive or read. What happens is for example when we read we get so engrossed in the plot tht we forget abt our probs, and tune out other stuff and we feel uninhibited and relaxed.And it is during this stage tht when the hypnotist suggest something we would prob take in the idea easily. like for example..to cluck like a chicken.

Im bored as hell. Been doing almost the same stuff everyday.Trying to keep myself entertained and its gettin difficult tho. Going out still doesnt satisfy me. I need new experiences. New places.

Today I felt like a red left eye mak nyah. Hhaha wth. Coz my voice was hoarse coz i sang too much yest and my eye was red due 2 expired lenses.

Hmm..Ive been thinking of what to do for the remaining holiday. I dont want it to go to waste like always. Im such a procrastinator. Geez.

And when school starts I intend to go for ALL or MOST of the tuts and lecture. I bet a few ppl wold be snickering at this statement. I have to. Last sem I could count the number of times i actually went for classes. I dont know what I was doing when im not in class. Prob in the dorm watchg tv,playing game,eatg,sleeping,shopping at nanyang mart haha!...wat else..oh ya playing with the cat or else i'd be out or i'd be in sch talkg crap and not go 4 classes. Its a wonder how I manage to do ok on my exams. Man I miss the hostel and the cat aka big boss/ lentok.

I cant stop singing Take me to Your leader. I love it. And I cant believe i didnt like it like 3yrs plus ago.

Anywhos.. went fishing and No fish were caught. Haha.

The significant part of the day was the um Health talk tht i was dragged to go along with my ma,my 3 aunts and my granmama. It was freaking funny. The talk was titled " stg stg Sakit Jantung" and "pencegahan dengue". Sheesh. Anyways..it was in a sml audi and was filled with makciks ah. So the first speaker was the dengue guy..then he spelt boleh as bolih. I laughed..
i was thinkg stupid guy .. then i turned to my mum to tell her... apparently BOLIH is correct?????

Anyways.. in typical mum fashion when the speaker ended the talk and ask for qns she shot up her hand immediately.Thts my mum yeah. As i was sandwhich between my ma and my aunt I wondered how their teachers tahan them last time. One aunt was complaning the speaker so boring and ask whether if she closed her eyes he would see.haha. The other aunt complained y he pronunced fengshan as pengsan.Then the other aunt was like he dunno how to talk ah and etc etc. Then when the speaker asked for questions my aunt cracked a joke. Then later turned to me n said she need to crack the joke coz so boring the tok. WTH. Ahhhaha..My aunts are a funny bunch and i love them 2 death.

Thts pretty much wat happened today apart frm the constant singing of Take me to ur leader.

OMG OMG.... i was channel surfing and on mtv there was this indonesian music video..and i freaking look like the girl.I really think so. Its sooooooooooooooooo uncanny.She looks just as weird as me.haaha. I tried looking for it on youtube but they dont have tht song. Omg. My jaw was open throuhout the music vid.Omg.
Omg. The singer is baim and the song is kau yg terakhir. If u can find the vid tell me pls.

On another note.. ive been msning quite abit these past few days. And i manage to keep in touch with my long far far far far far away and near frens. Its really nice talkg 2 them. It brings up old memories. They havent change much. Michael was online just now..and he is still as lecheh as ever. He still talks crap.Want to teach me how to drink frm a pail.WTH?haha.I remember how last time he would say the most weirdest stuff in his french accent to nadz and me.And the time when he heard us sing the no doubt song. So freaking embarassing. We should have brought them ard spore eh nadiah..and hang out at the staff club wif em.

Yest i met Miss Nadiah after she finished work. It was real nice to see her after a long while. I cant believe shes flying to the land dwn under in almost a wk's time! I sure am gonna miss her loads.
Shes like my long lost sister that I never had. Sigh..

When we met, we talked nonstop like usual..talked abt everything, talked crap.. had heartfelt conversations, gossiped, and like usual both of us actioning.We love to action. It was fun.
So we first went to Zara to check out the sale. Unfortch there was nothing good to buy, the sale prices was not that great and like some clothes u definitely could get it cheaper at This Fashion. So we made our way to this Fashion near PS.

We went there and picked up tons of clothes to try on. Hahaha the basket tht they provided to carry the clothes wasnt enough. Nadiah mentioned abt using the method the aunties at Sheng Siong use when their basket was full; to put it at one corner and then take another basket.hahahhaaha wth. Anyways We tried like ard 15 articles of clothings each.

The lady at the changing room gave us a pissed face. hahha. So after trying out the clothes i ended up buying 2 tops and a pair of corduroy black capris which is absolutely comfy
and was all at a steal. We spent like more than an hour there. Our stomachs were rumbling so we went to the LJS nearby. We ate and talked and talked. She took a video of me saying the word 'ketara'. Whats wrong with saying 'Ketara'?(ketara is obvious in mly)

Whateverr.. after that I made my way home by train. My Gdness.. it was so freaking packed!.It was like as if it was the rush hour but it wasnt. Its like 10plus. Ppl just came bk frm wrk??Anyways i had to push and shove thru and wearing heels doesnt help. I was so afraid of tripping.

At home I couldnt sleep. Somehow I decided to make a mental list of what i enjoy doing... Dont ask me why I suddenly thought abt making such a list. Coz i really do not know why..

Yest was not a good day. bawled and bawled. Sigh.. I guess there are some ok days and some bad days. Crying just zaps all your energy. By nite time i felt so tired.

Anyways 2day Im feeling much better. Been thinking of getting my hair cut or trimmed.Its so longgg.. longer then i have ever kept it.

I think I wana learn how to sew. Ive always loved fashion and art since I was young. Imagine making ur own clothes..that would be just great. So now the problem is finding sum1 to teach me. The courses outside are sooooo expensive.. Hmm maybe they have a self help bk and then i could borrow my aunts sewing machine.

Harry potters wrld as my own

Ok im rewriting this post so as not to sound "immaturish"..like sum1 said it sounded.. =p

The patriach brought me around for a round off golf.(hahah tryin to sound like ahem ahem)
Nw..basically my dad brought me to the driving range yest to hit a couple off balls. My arms are still sore frm tht. I must say I have improved alot since the last time..can finally maximise the 8 iron's potential. Haha.

So apart frm golfing, i finally finished Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix. Yeah go on laugh.I dun care I happen to enjoy reading HP. Then i was thinking if i were a character in harry potter i wuld definitely be Cho Chang. Coz shes like in a fragile state coz her bf Cedric just died..
Yeah then my mum wuld be the wise always knowing Albus Dumbledore and my dad would be Minerva McGonagall strict,inflexible but solidly dependable. Yeah and Nadiah would be Luna/Looney Lovegood..hahah..coz shes looney and blunt. The rest of the characters doesnt coincide with anyone else so.. yeah thts all..

So during the holiday i have been reading quite a number of bks. Umm all the bks were lying ard in the house so pardon the variety off it..So Ive been reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy..absolutely fabulous. Then i read the Hobbit. Its really a classic. I read Bleachers by John Grisham. It was ok..not his best wrk tho. I read my bros lit text, Roald Dahl A Selection. I have always loved Roald Dahl his stories are not candy coated. Theres always something dark or mystical abt it. Yeah.. i once read Henry Sugar ovr and ovr again everyday. Haha mad i tell u.
Other then tht i read The unluckiest boy in the wrld by andrew norris. Loved it. Again i must remind u that these bks are lying ard the house so pardon the variety..haha. So nw i went to MPH to buy The Similiron by Tolkein but ended up bying HP and the half bld prince. Yeah so i read my first HP book and got hooked and then bought the Order of the Phoneix.Yeah and i read Ideals and realities of Islam and im absolutely thankful i read it.
Other than that I read the national geographic and the daily papers. My head is full of general knowledge. if u wana know wats happening ard the wrld give me a call. haha.

I guess the nxt book I really wanna read is 1984 by George Orwell. Will go hunt for it soon.

The pt of starting this is just to keep me sane.Rather then have all these feelings and emotions well up inside.Maybe sum1 will read it and maybe noone will.One things for sure the posts are gonna be full of my raw emotions,that echos how fragile and vulnerable im feeling right now.

Life is nvr gona be the same. I dont think it will be as great and im sure not lookg forward to it.
Sumtimes i wish i could just curl up and disappear. I still havnt come to terms with it. To realise that this is for real. Im still in shock i guess. When i force myself to believe it then my whole body starts to be literally cold and i feel like throwing up. I still check the phone to c if there is any msgs like last time. I wanna msg but i have to force myself not to. Its like the love n feelings in my heart have to be contained; like i have to build a brick wall around it. Its just so evil. If it ended on a sour note maybe i would be able to deal with it. Its just the damned circumstances n situation.

I cant not cry. Even when i try to keep myself occupied there are times when i have flashback of the time we shared tgt. Random things tht i mite not have rembered.Like gg to the library to borrow comics,sendin his frens home... How can sum1 tht is so perfect for u not meant to be with u? sum1 once told me tht u dont necessarily marry the one that u love the most. Isnt tht sad?
What is the pt of marriage then?To procreate?To prevent ppl frm calling u an old hag?To have sum1 in case of need when ur old?
